KDE 3.0x© Copyright Darrell Anderson. KDE 3.0x definitely is faster than KDE 2.2. I probably do not have to worry about updating to newer hardware. The scuttlelbutt from the KDE 3.1 beta testers is that 3.1 is faster yet. Good. Konqueror still will not remember my window positions. Konqueror also crashes with some regularity although I am doing nothing more than basic file operations as I wander and learn my way around the file system. The embedded KFind utility is a joke and is terribly slow. KMail still does not address my fundamental concerns. Finis. |
